If you have the extras cover with any health fund they will pay a rebate for part of the cost of your Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy consultation. Rebates for treatments vary from fund to fund and it also depends on the level of cover you have. To find out how much you get back for each physio or massage treatment simply contact the health fund you are with. |
On-the-Spot Electronic Claiming
All our Physio Fitness clinics have HICAPS on-the-spot electronic rebate claiming for participating health funds. Simply bring your card with you to your appointment. No more need to taking the receipt into your healthfund – it’s all done. Easy! You can also pay by EFTPOS, Visa or Mastercard. Click the links below for a list of funds that are currently electronic.
Medicare EPC
We also can swipe for Medicare EPC (Enhanced Primary Care) claims if you have been referred under the EPC scheme for Physiotherapy by your Doctor. You need to bring the referral form with you and tell our reception that you are under the EPC scheme at the time of booking the appointment. We do not bulk bill for this service, so you will be able to claim back the medicare rebate (currently $51.95 per session) by swiping your medicare card after you have paid the consultation fee for the session.
